The direction is deepening the operational and enterprise retail surface: accountability logs at the register, remote device management, fine-grained permissioning, and merchant-defined metafields propagating into Analytics rather than staying static. Expect more POS fleet and loss-prevention tooling and further extension of metafields as analytics dimensions and filters, continuing the pattern of turning custom merchant data into reportable structure.
