Twenty vs Weflow

A five-item release on 3 August is the substance of this window, and most of it lands in Salesforce rather than in Weflow. The new Weflow Advanced Analytics managed package builds activity analytics natively in the customer's own CRM without consuming API calls for reporting, covering company-wide activity trends, duplicate detection, and orphaned accounts. Its companion Activity Timeline drops in as a lightning component on any page. Ask AI reached the Chrome extension, so it can be triggered from a record sidebar or the extension search anywhere on the web, and a month earlier it gained stricter access guardrails, a faster model, and a 40% processing speed improvement.

Weflow is positioning itself as infrastructure inside Salesforce instead of a destination beside it. Activity capture already ran in the background; now the reporting on that capture lives in the customer's CRM under their own ownership, and the assistant is reachable from wherever the rep already is. The admin-console work — read-only mode granularity, custom object owner logging rules, email processing delay configuration — is the unglamorous half of the same idea, giving Salesforce admins control over what Weflow writes into their system.

Expect the Advanced Analytics package to accumulate more native components on the Activity Timeline pattern, since the point of a managed package is that additions arrive without Weflow touching the UI. Whether Ask AI gets write access rather than answering questions is not something these entries settle.
