Starshipit

E-COMM
Velocity0.0

Starshipit moves up the stack into warehouse management — picking, scanning, and stock alongside its shipping labels.

ecommerce shippingmulti-carrierwmscross-bordercarrier integrationsfulfilment
Current state
Starshipit is a multi-carrier shipping platform that has been quietly expanding outside of label generation. The headline move is a built-in warehouse management module covering products and locations, inbound receiving, stock adjustments, pick-pack-ship flows, and barcode scanning on mobile. Around it, the carrier surface keeps growing — UPS third-party duty billing, DHL Express proforma invoices, Asendia and OnSend integrations — and the platform absorbs operational shocks like the Sendle closure with automatic fallbacks rather than blocking fulfilment.
Where it's heading
Two narratives are running in parallel. Carrier-side, Starshipit is deepening its cross-border story (importer-of-record settings, third-party duty billing, package-level commodity codes) and broadening its carrier roster, particularly in ANZ. Operations-side, the warehouse module signals a shift from 'we print your labels' to 'we run your fulfilment'. That's a meaningful re-positioning against pure-shipping competitors and against entry-level WMS vendors at once.
Prediction
Expect the warehouse module to deepen toward features that historically gate WMS adoption — multi-warehouse routing, lot/serial tracking, returns processing — and continued cross-border carrier additions to back the shipping-side story.

    Courier & Platform Enhancements - March 2026

UPS third-party duty billing (including Zonos setups) and DHL Express proforma invoices are exactly the kind of cross-border plumbing that determines whether merchants can ship internationally without manual workarounds — small-looking changes that unlock specific shipment types.

New carrier integrations: Asendia and OnSend

Asendia adds an outbound option for Australian merchants shipping internationally; OnSend covers domestic NZ last-mile. Both deepen ANZ regional coverage and reflect Starshipit's pattern of adding carriers customers ask for rather than chasing global breadth.

    Courier & Platform Enhancements - January 2026

Auto-falling back to Plain Label when Sendle closed is the kind of operational graceful-degradation that customers don't notice unless it's missing — together with NZ Couriers GST in freight estimates, this release is mostly fulfilment-floor invisibility.

    Starshipit warehouse management

    ⚡ SPARK

The warehouse management module is the move that re-categorises Starshipit — it's no longer just a shipping platform, it's beginning to compete in WMS territory, and the rest of the cross-border carrier work makes more sense as part of an end-to-end fulfilment story rather than label-only.
