◆Current state
Honeybadger has moved well beyond exception monitoring. The Insights product captures HTTP events with auto-instrumentation, dashboards have parameterized queries, and the platform now ships on AWS Marketplace. The AI layer is substantive: natural language error search, an MCP server with OAuth support, and anomaly-based alerting that learns per-project baselines.
◆Where it's heading
The roadmap is converging on AI-native observability: every traditional interaction (search, alerting, issue export) is getting an AI counterpart. The Insights product is building toward a Datadog-lite APM surface. Expect broader language support (Oban-py is one example of niche-but-real coverage) and tighter GitHub/Jira/Linear issue lifecycle integration.
