◆Current state
Headlamp is an extensible Kubernetes web UI, but its release feed is almost entirely Helm chart tags whose body is a single boilerplate sentence describing the project. headlamp-helm 0.43, 0.44, and 0.45 shipped across three months with no notes attached to any of them. The one substantive entry in the window is headlamp-plugin 0.14.0, the tooling release for plugin authors.
◆Where it's heading
What can actually be read here is a plugin-ecosystem investment. The plugin scaffolder now writes an AGENTS.md file and bundles example plugins so AI coding agents have context when generating against the plugin API, and the same release replaced execSync with execFileSync to close a shell-injection path. Beyond that, the chart cadence says the project is maintained and shipping regularly, but the feed itself carries no evidence of what changed in the UI.
◆Prediction
No reliable prediction can be drawn from a feed of note-less chart tags. The plugin toolchain is the only place the project is publishing intent, so the next readable signal will most likely come from another headlamp-plugin release rather than a chart bump.

    The only entry in the window with real notes: the plugin scaffolder now emits an AGENTS.md and bundles example plugins so AI coding agents have working context, and internal scripts move from execSync to execFileSync to remove a shell-injection risk. A Windows .cmd shim fix makes the binary usable without a shell wrapper.
