ANALYTICS
Velocity5.0

Lightweight privacy-friendly website analytics with uptime checks and webrings

Tinylytics is quietly adding AI and agent integration — MCP queries from the dashboard, n8n hooks.

Current state
Tinylytics ships in weekly changelog batches rather than versioned releases, which makes individual releases hard to isolate. The recent period shows two notable additions: the ability to query site analytics through an AI assistant from within the dashboard, and n8n/agent workflow integration for analytics data. The rest is polish — better onboarding confirmations, bot filtering improvements, content monitoring refinements.
Where it's heading
The product is expanding from a minimalist analytics tool into one that pipes data into AI and automation workflows. Passkeys, Ultra AI portfolio insights, and the MCP-accessible dashboard point toward a vision where analytics data is queryable by agents, not just humans reading a chart.
Prediction
Structured API or webhook support that lets automation platforms pull analytics data on demand — rather than periodic exports — would be the natural completion of the n8n and agent integration work.

    Tinylytics Update — August 19–20

AI queries from the dashboard — users can now ask about their sites' analytics directly from the Tinylytics UI using Ultra — extends the MCP integration to the product's own interface. The prior MCP work let AI assistants query data; this brings that capability to users who don't run their own agents.

    Tinylytics Update — August 1–12

n8n integration and agent connectivity, all-time top pages, and configurable week-start represent three distinct improvements: one opens analytics data to automation workflows, one adds depth to page performance reporting, and one addresses a long-standing friction point for users in non-US time conventions.

    Tinylytics Update — July 10–31

A reorganized site settings hub, clearer content monitoring ignores, richer group dashboard experience, and passkey support cover several separate usability fronts. The passkey addition removes the password dependency for a tool that positions itself as lightweight and low-friction.
