Performance management, 360 feedback, goals and engagement platform built for Microsoft Teams

Teamflect's AI is now proactive — it recommends who to recognize before managers think to ask.

Current state
Teamflect shipped a dense cluster of HR platform updates in September, covering three areas simultaneously: admin control (goal editing permissions, targeted sign-up reminders), AI visibility (a redesigned AI Agent hub with clearer admin/user separation), and a genuinely new AI behavior — proactive recognition recommendations that surface candidates to managers unprompted. The Admin Center performance improvements address a practical pain point for large deployments.
Where it's heading
Teamflect is moving its AI from on-demand assistant to ambient advisor. The recognition recommendation feature is the clearest signal: instead of waiting for a manager to open the AI panel and ask 'who deserves praise?', the system now proactively identifies candidates. This advisory pattern — AI-initiated action rather than AI-answering-questions — is likely to expand to performance risk identification, goal misalignment alerts, and retention signals.
Prediction
Proactive AI recommendations will extend beyond recognition: flagging employees at risk of missing review goals, or surfacing engagement signals before a manager's 1:1, are the natural next surfaces — the infrastructure for proactive AI nudges is now in place.

Control who can edit goals and notify employees when managers make changes

Goal editing permissions now have separate controls per goal type, with a 'Restrict goal editing' toggle that lets admins define whether only goal owners, managers, or both can edit. Manager change notifications add an audit trail for goal modifications. Both features address compliance and oversight requirements that enterprise HR teams typically need before deploying goal management broadly.

Faster navigation across Admin Center lists

Performance improvements to high-volume Admin Center list views — review cycles, surveys, feedback records — reduce load time for large HR deployments. Noticeable for admins managing hundreds of records, invisible for smaller teams.

A new home for Teamflect AI and AI Skills

The AI Agent settings surface is reorganized: admins get a dedicated AI Agent page with controls, while users see a clearer picture of what the AI can do. This is a UX restructuring of existing capabilities, not a new AI feature — but it positions Teamflect to surface more AI functionality without burying it in the settings hierarchy.

Send sign-up reminders to the right groups of users

Admins can now select exactly which invited users receive sign-up reminders, replacing the previous all-or-nothing blast. The additional filter for invited-by-manager versus invited-by-admin adds useful targeting for organizations running phased rollouts.

Help managers recognize the right people with proactive AI recommendations

    ⚡ SPARK

Proactive AI recognition recommendations shift the product's AI posture from reactive tool to ambient advisor. Rather than waiting for a manager to initiate a recognition, Teamflect's AI now identifies team members who deserve acknowledgment and surfaces them proactively — changing how recognition gets distributed across an organization.

Keep track of your pending review actions from Home

The Home page now surfaces pending review actions organized by the user's role in each review (reviewer, reviewee, HR admin), making it easier to triage outstanding work without digging into individual review cycles. Practical UX improvement for anyone juggling multiple review cycles simultaneously.
