Scribe

EDTECH
Velocity2.5

Automated documentation tool that captures workflows and creates step-by-step guides and SOPs for training and onboarding.

Scribe is wiring its SOPs into the agent era — Scribe MCP exposes guides to Claude, Cursor, and Glean as native tools.

Current state
Scribe shipped Scribe MCP in April, giving compatible AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Glean) a standard way to retrieve and act on Scribes — the documentation library becomes a consumable knowledge source for agents. May's Magic Edit closes the authoring loop with AI-driven Scribe clean-up. Around the directional moves, March was a steady cadence of enterprise polish: customizable approval workflows, branding controls, document import from PDF/Word, in-page pinned guides, AI voiceovers for movies, and viewer-driven documentation requests.
Where it's heading
Scribe is positioning itself as the documentation layer that humans and AI agents both consume. Magic Edit handles the authoring side; Scribe MCP handles the consumption side; everything else (branding, approvals, document import) hardens the enterprise documentation surface that supports both. Expect Scribe's value prop to shift from 'turn screen recordings into guides' toward 'the source of truth your AI tools and your team both rely on.'
Prediction
Watch for Scribe MCP to expand from read-only access to write access — agents that update Scribes when SOPs drift, or generate new Scribes from observed workflows. Combined with the existing process-map agent, this sets up an end-to-end loop: agent observes work, agent generates SOP, humans approve.

Bring Scribe into your AI tools with Scribe MCP

    ⚡ SPARK

Scribe MCP exposes the Scribe library to Claude, Cursor, and Glean as a standard tool — making accumulated SOPs directly consumable by AI agents. The directional move that reframes Scribe from end-user product into infrastructure for agent-driven workflows.

    Documentation requests directly in-product

Viewers can now request documentation directly in-product when something's missing, replacing back-channel pings to creators. Closes the demand-side feedback loop on what SOPs the org actually needs.
