◆Current state
Scoro is a professional services platform covering quotes, projects, time, retainers and financial reporting. Its AI work landed in a clear sequence: an MCP server over the holidays making Scoro's data callable by outside agents, then general availability of the ELI assistant in April, then a New Apps extension layer in May. The August post moves the assistant onto automatic triggers and builds project timelines directly from quotes. The feed publishes headlines with almost no body text, so scope has to be read from direction rather than detail.
◆Where it's heading
The bet has been consistent all year: make Scoro reachable by agents, then make its own assistant capable, then reduce how much a human has to initiate. Each layer builds on the financial and project data model underneath rather than sitting beside it, which is why the ordinary releases — revenue models, subtasks, time and cost allocation to invoices — matter to the AI story. Automatic triggering is the first change to how ELI is invoked rather than to what it can reach.
◆Prediction
Triggers imply conditions and permissions that this feed does not describe; the natural follow-on is user-configurable trigger rules and an audit trail of what ELI did unprompted, since neither is optional once an assistant acts on live financial records.
