34.0.3 keeps the correctness campaign running, now with a file-provider crash fix

◆Current state
34.0.3 is the third patch on the 34.0 line and holds the shape the previous two set: eleven bot-authored backports, no feature note. The substantive items sit in the virtual-file layer — a concurrent write crash in the macOS File Provider XPC utilities, correct enumeration of large change batches, and retry handling for failed network requests. The rest trims misleading warning logs, adds a temporary-file pattern to the default exclusion list, fixes GNOME AppIndicator tray compatibility, and verifies that macOS components are signed with matching team identifiers.
◆Where it's heading
Nothing has changed direction. Three patches into the stable line the composition is still File Provider and sync-integrity backports, and the crash fix here is the same class of defect the campaign has been closing since RC2 — concurrency and enumeration in the layer the macOS rewrite introduced. The one small shift is that log-noise cleanup now takes up as many entries as the fixes do, which usually indicates the team is working through diagnostics gathered from the field rather than from new reports.
◆Prediction
Expect 34.0.4 to look the same again: File Provider concurrency and enumeration fixes backported to the stable line. The network-request retry work is the only item here that could grow into something user-facing, and nothing in these notes says it will.

    34.0.2 backports fifteen sync-correctness fixes across macOS and Windows

    Fifteen backports, almost all of them sync-correctness rather than polish: excluded items no longer deleted server-side, special characters preserved in chunked upload paths, placeholder directories not re-uploaded after remote deletion, stale chunks cleaned up, and new files syncing on Windows. Individually small, collectively the same data-integrity campaign the 34.0 line has been running since RC2.

    34.0.1 cuts O(N²) work from large-folder enumeration

    The first patch on the new stable line is mostly macOS plumbing — Local Network access verification, another FinderSync XPC refactor, file locking moved off the GUI thread — but it also removes quadratic work from large-folder enumeration, the first performance fix in this window. It fits the correctness-and-hardening arc rather than breaking from it.

    34.0.0 lands: Server Actions in Finder, macOS 12 dropped

    The 34.0 line goes stable, carrying Server Actions integration for the macOS File Provider extension, a consolidated Xcode workspace, and a dropped macOS 12 floor. It is a real version bump, but the payload is platform consolidation and accumulated fixes rather than new sync capability.

    34.0.0 RC3 pulled and replaced over a macOS defect

    RC3 was superseded by RC4 within the same week over a critical macOS issue, and its note otherwise restates the cumulative 34.0.0 list. It is useful only as evidence of how much of the release risk sat on the macOS side.
