Modern HR platform for global workforce management

HiBob expands its public API to cover every major HR data domain, including AI-scored candidate matching

Current state
HiBob's recent releases are almost exclusively API additions — background check partner integration, employee table endpoints, skills API, time-off calendar events, and employer entity data. The AI CV Matching score stands out: it replaces the previous AI CV Summary with an explainable, recruiter-configurable match score built around structured criteria, making the AI evaluation a first-class part of the hiring API.
Where it's heading
Bob is building toward a composable HR data platform where third-party tools treat Bob as the system of record, pulling and pushing data through a broad, well-documented API. The MCP server OAuth upgrade (prior release) and the partner API for background checks both reinforce the same direction: Bob as the connective layer for the HR tech stack, not just a standalone HR tool.
Prediction
The API surface now covers most HR data domains. The next logical addition is a webhooks or event-streaming layer — integration partners currently need to poll for changes, and push-based notification would enable real-time HR data sync for high-frequency use cases like payroll and benefits.

Employee data API: New Employee Tables endpoints

Hiring API: New AI CV Matching score in Applications

    ⚡ SPARK

AI CV Matching replaces the previous AI CV Summary with a configurable, explainable match score tied to recruiter-defined criteria — a meaningful shift from black-box summarization to transparent, adjustable evaluation. This makes AI evaluation a first-class API capability, enabling integrations to surface match scores in external tools.
