Filmhub is automating the pre-distribution QC pipeline, reducing back-and-forth rejections before titles reach channels.

Current state
Filmhub ships at a measured pace—roughly one or two releases per quarter—focused on reducing producer friction at each step of the distribution process. Recent additions include an AI-powered artwork analysis tool that flags QC issues before submission, a rebuilt video player, release notifications, and a homepage performance widget showing earnings estimates. The platform's emphasis is on self-service pre-submission tools that prevent rejections rather than requiring producers to resubmit.
Where it's heading
Filmhub is automating the QC and submission pipeline. The Instant Artwork feedback tool is the first AI-native feature that directly prevents channel rejections—before this, producers would submit and wait for feedback. The trajectory points toward automated checks covering audio, metadata, and captions alongside artwork, reducing the overall distribution cycle time.
Prediction
Additional pre-submission validation tools are likely: audio loudness normalization checks, metadata completeness validation, closed-caption format verification. Producer analytics will expand beyond gross estimates, probably including per-channel performance breakdowns.

Instant Artwork Feedback: AI-Powered Pre-Submission QC

The Instant Artwork feedback tool automatically checks for common QC failure patterns—illegible titles, cropped faces, extra text in textless artwork, wrong aspect ratios—before producers submit. This is Filmhub's first AI-powered pre-submission gate, shifting from reactive rejection (channel rejects, producer resubmits) to proactive correction.

    Rebuilt Dashboard Video Player

A rebuilt video player with theater mode, modern design, and smoother performance gives producers a better screening experience inside the Filmhub Dashboard. For a platform where producers regularly review their own content before distribution, a reliable, performant player reduces friction in the pre-submission review workflow.

    Your Promo Page is ready

The Relay Page renamed to Promo Page and migrated to filmhub.com gives producers a shareable, on-brand link for promoting where their titles can be watched. Moving the URL to filmhub.com improves trust signals for external audiences and centralizes the producer promotion surface on Filmhub's own domain.

    Order English Captions for Episodes

In-app caption ordering for individual episodes removes a workflow step that previously required producers to manage captions outside the platform. English captions are required for distribution, so making ordering self-service from inside Filmhub reduces the time from finished episode to distribution-ready.

Earnings Estimates on the Dashboard Homepage

The Performance widget on the homepage shows six months of gross earnings estimates per channel as soon as producers log in—bringing revenue visibility to the surface rather than requiring navigation into individual title reports. It's a dashboard optimization, but meaningful for producers tracking multiple titles across channels.

Get notified when your titles are released

Release notifications—push updates when a title goes live on a channel—remove the need for producers to manually check channel pages. This closes a notification gap that previously left producers uncertain about their titles' live status until they investigated manually.
