Communications platform offering voice, messaging, and emergency APIs

Bandwidth ships Identity Presentation (branded calling) in beta — trust layer for enterprise outbound calling.

Current state
Bandwidth is an enterprise communications API provider actively shipping across messaging, voice, and number management. The last 30 days include SIP trunking on Build, 10DLC registration in the app UI, RCS test number self-serve, and voice debug logs in Voice Insights. Identity Presentation — authenticated branded calling that displays the caller's brand name, logo, and call reason on mobile phones — entered beta on August 14 and is the most differentiated new capability.
Where it's heading
The platform is advancing on two simultaneous tracks: developer experience (self-serve tooling replacing support tickets, debug visibility, UI for previously API-only workflows) and differentiated enterprise capabilities (branded calling, RCS agent testing, MOS voice quality monitoring). The Brazil PSTN replacement expansion shows the geographic build-out is ongoing. Each release reduces friction at a specific operator task.
Prediction
Identity Presentation moving from beta to general availability is the most likely near-term announcement. RCS expansion to additional carriers or geographies is the second active investment, given the self-serve test number tooling that just shipped.

Secure your off-net Lumen numbers with a port-out PIN

Port-out PINs for off-net Lumen numbers add a layer of number security that previously only existed for on-net numbers. Parity feature, but meaningful for customers with Lumen-hosted numbers who want protection against unauthorized porting.

    Identity Presentation – Beta

    ⚡ SPARK

Identity Presentation enters beta — displaying brand name, logo, and call reason on mobile phones for outbound calls, backed by third-party trust attestation. This is Bandwidth's entry into authenticated branded calling, a category that directly attacks the spoofed-call problem for enterprise outbound.

Voice API debug logs — now available in Voice Insights

Voice API debug logs are now visible in Voice Insights — API request history, webhook delivery attempts, HTTP response codes, and BXML execution events all in one place. Eliminates the support ticket loop for debugging call flow failures.
