Dagger has moved well beyond a 'run containers in CI' abstraction. The platform now understands what pipelines are doing: it reads OpenTelemetry test spans and renders a native test explorer, and it pins every external dependency — container image tags, git branches, HTTP fetches — to a content-addressed lockfile committed to version control. The terminal interface has been rebuilt from scratch around native scrollback rather than a constrained viewport.
